Anne Bonner and Paul Taylor

We both take a tremendously active role in our community.  Paul, as your sitting County Councillor is very much involved with the sports clubs in the area and Anne is a Brandon and Byshottles Parish Councillor.

We have supported many local groups over the years including Brandon Carrside Youth & Community Project, Brandon Boxing Club, Brandon Sports/Cricket and Table Tennis Clubs, Brandon & Meadowfield Residents Group, The Friends of Langley Moor, The Friends of Addison Park Meadowfield, St Andrews Church and Youth Club, funding towards the rebuild of St Johns Hall and Brandon & Browney Banner Group to name but a few.

Several community projects have been progressed over the years, with some ongoing, such as the refurbishment of all our local parks in Langley Moor, Meadowfield and Brandon.  The Heart of Brandon project, which will include a Ray Londsdale Statue of miner, 20 mph Zones for every school in our community, continuing improvements to Meadowfield Cemetery, traffic calming in several areas and Christmas events with Christmas trees in Langley Moor and this year in Meadowfield.

We know the recovery from the economic effects of Covid and years of austerity will require much on-going support.  That is why we want to see the creation of jobs a priority, we want to support our local businesses, improve opportunities for young people and to improve housing and transport.

We are always available to assist residents from all of our villages, if you would like to send us an email please do so to:
